| My trip got moved to November! I'm very glad not to be gone now! I hopefully won't miss the leaves changing as a result. I love fall; the cold air is invigorating, and I've been experiencing many good feelings I remember having felt before but don't entirely understand.
I've been watching the anime Macross lately, and it's pretty awesome, though the animation is often awful. It was made in the 80s and has some really blatant and hilarious sexism in it. Here's a snippet of a conversation (which I can't find proof of on the internet yet) between the main male character, a pilot, and a main female character, who's a captain or something on the bridge of a space battleship.
Main character - "Women shouldn't be in the army anyway. They're much cuter when they're cooking or singing." Female character - "But... I can do all those things too!"
Not "That's like a textbook stereotype!" but "I can do all those things too!" THAT'S AWESOME. It's so ridiculous that I wonder if it was meant to be funny, but I don't think it was!

| YAR! I satisfy my blogging urge on Warnerburg these days, mostly. But here, I can slander my enemies and say inappropriate personal things to my heart's friggin' content!
I totally got a house! It was a kind of cool process; I saw the house for the first time one day, made an offer the next day, and the offer was accepted the day after that. I like this place a lot! There's a whole lot of wood paneling in it, and the guy who lived here before did tons of work in it, which I appreciate. The only big thing I had to do was clean out a whole lot of gross cat hair. The sign on my door still says "The Rozinski's," which I considered marker-ing over with "Woodopolis." In the end, I agree with Brandon, who holds that the sign is awesome as it is and who suspects the Rozinskis are trapped somewhere in my basement.
So that's been fun; I'm still busy with house-related things, but that can be enjoyable. I moved in about a month ago. The downside: MOWING THE LAWN! I HATE MOWING THE LAWN! I SHALL BURN THE LAWN TO THE GROUND! Fun fact: you can mow over apples with a push mower and nothing bad will happen! AWESOME
Work's been pretty good, and I'm still glad to have my job, though I've been working longer days for the past few weeks on a big project. At the end of that, it turns out that I've been selected to go on a business trip of sorts to Olive Branch, Mississippi. That'll be interesting - it may happen on the week of October 6th, so it snuck up on me quickly. I'll try to find a museum or bookstore to go to while my coworkers do whatever it is the stereotypical coworker does after work (i.e. go to bars). It'll be a kind of nice break for the usual, or "the yoozh," but I'll be glad to come back home afterwards. Hopefully I'll be able to stay up to speed on Warnerburg in spite of this.
Other things: I'm going to bed earlier these days, because I screw up my body when I go to bed at 2 on weekends and try to go to bed at 10 on weekdays. I finished Hajime no Ippo and it was AWESOME and everyone should watch it. I'm watching a show called "Kamichu!" now, and I really like it, though I don't yet know anyone I'd recommend it to. It's cute, somewhat slow-paced, surreal, kind of shoujo-ish, and nice. It's my cup of tea and that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

| I graduated! Whenever I think of school, I'm glad I'm done with it. I'm now surrounded by people who are generally professional and mature, which is great.
I had wrist problems for about four weeks after school and thus couldn't draw, which sucked a lot, and it made me realize how much time I spend drawing. Not being able to draw was pretty boring, and I had a hard time thinking of other things to do. I felt like my life was on hold. But my chiropractor helped me out and now things are better in my wrist. I may be more balanced now in how I spend my time as well!
I actually watched Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann, and I loved it! One part brought me to tears of elation. It's a show full of over-the-top energy, but actually engaged me on an emotional level too, in ways I love. I started to like it after the end of the second episode, so if you didn't like the first episode (like me) you may start to like it after that.
Other things I'm watching: Hajime no Ippo (awesome) and maybe Maison Ikkoku.
I'm also looking for a house or something! Woo!
